There is so much to do and so little time to do it in. I can’t believe its August 1st already. It seems as if the summer has gone so quickly and fall is fast approaching us. I am not the most gracious person when it comes to leaving the summer behind and coming into fall. I love the colors, cider smell, and cuddling by the fireplace and sweaters snuggles but I honestly, do not enjoy the cold anymore.
This summer has been a wonderful time for me. I found a personal trainer (that I could afford and who is amazing) and I began working out June 5th. To date as of August 1st I have lost 8.0 pounds, 2 inches off my waist, and another 2 ½ inches over all in other places gone! I am very pleased with my results thus far. I am eating better, have more energy, and looking great.
I also know now that working out is becoming a habit, when I do not workout I feel lethargic, un-rested, I eat way too much and I just feel icky. The days I do even a simple workout which is; walk (3.5mph) jog (4.5mph) and then 20 minutes of abs, I feel amazing. The days I do full circuit training I feel absolutely wonderfully sexy!
I plan to continue my work with Aimee in training my habits of circuit training, basic workouts, and eating, food balancing and understanding the healthy aspects of getting healthy. I look forward to this next two months and what my goals are I have set.
I am hopeful to continue to do my walk/jogs outside in the fresh air even in the winter (as much as I can). However, I do have a treadmill for those really crappy days; which Michigan does have. Nonetheless, I am loving the way my body is forming, changing and shifting. It’s the tightening and toning of the 50 year old body that is blowing me away and oh did I tell you hubby is taking notice and I dare say he’s loving this toned up 50 year old!
Here are my goals:
1. Daily; before anything else:
5 minutes prayers & positive thoughts;
10 minutes meditations.
2. Lose 5-7 lbs.
3. Circuit Training M,W,F; 2 hours (Aimee)
Basic workout T, Th, Sa, 1+hours
4. Drink 1/2 gallon + H2O daily
5. 7-8 hours full sleep each night.
6. Log my foods & water daily, eat better,
drink protein shakes,
Sweet treat on Sundays only!
I do hope I am inspiring someone, I know I am inspired!
